Skype!

Hey everyone, just a heads up about Skype (for those who don't know, Skype is a very popular chat program similar to AIM or MSN. Skype provides calling to phones from computers, Video Calls, voice Chat, and text chatting ofcourse)

However, Skype is monitored by the government, not that it's a bad thing, but everything you say is recorded. Skype's records are shared with all sorts of departments and so if you value your privacy, you might want to avoid it. Skype admitted a few years ago that it was working with the CIA to help catch criminals, so don't say anything stupid or joke around - it might just get you in trouble! I'm not so sure about Skype's video calling, but it's likely recorded too. Just a heads up!

For Anybody Who's Wondering~

Blog News:

1. If you're wondering where Chichi went - he damaged his computer physically so it's in the repair shop for now, he should be back pretty soon (give him a week or two).  So he can't really write any posts at the moment.

2. We are going to stream HD anime episodes on our blog, starting sometime soon within the next month. Yay! (It'll mainly be anime which are missing episodes or aren't aired on TV anime.  And no Bleach or Naruto, you can find a billion streams for those on YouTube >.> )

Deodorant Sticks - Yes. I'm talking about deodorant.

Ok, this one's for all the guys out there who like to smell nice during and after playing sports. There are a BUNCH of deodorant sticks out there, the popular ones being Axe and Old Spice. Axe is a bit overrated and has wacky fruit smells (it's alright) while Old Spice smells really... spicy and nice, it's just not very effective and doesn't last too long. Out of all the ones I've tried, the Degree Men's Adrenaline series seem to work the best (Cool Rush is the one I use). It completely covers any smells of sweat and the smell gets stronger when you sweat more. The Cool Rush deodorant stick I use smells like clean soap - as if you just took a shower. And it's pretty strong with a duration of around 6-10 hours minimum, so I highly recommend using the Degree Men's Adrenaline series to those who need a new deodorant stick or are planning to start using one. It's only around $3-$5 USD depending on where you buy it.

The Art of Airsofting

What is Airsoft?
Airsoft is a sport in which players utilize replica weapons that fire 6mm or 8mm plastic pellets. The players are often split into teams and reenact various scenarios from films, books, games, and/or do military combat simulations "mil-sims".

Only "bad" people play Airsoft.
That isn't true, many good respectable people play Airsoft - it's just a sport, and it's fun. Airsoft is also a much safer alternative than going to a firing range with live weapons, and is better than video games in that you actually exercise. You will also learn to cooperate as a team and bond with your teammates or friends.

Airsoft is Dangerous.
Airsoft can be dangerous - but so can everything else (driving, skiing, swimming). This is what rules were created for - to prevent accidents.

*For a general rule, ALWAYS wear a face mask when playing (eye/mouth/ear protection) and NEVER take it off or lift it up during a match!
*Keep your finger off the trigger if you aren't going to fire.
*Avoid shooting at heads if possible.
*Also do not shoot at anyone within 10 feet to avoid the BB pellet from breaking skin (in the event of a "hot gun" that shoots very hard), but rather yell "Surrender!" or "Die!" or "Bang!" (there are many variants of this).
*Do not use guns over the FPS of 350 indoors or in small backyards.
*Never bring your weapons outside in public without a gun bag or a case to put it in.
*In most places it is illegal to have a replica firearm out in public.
*NEVER EVER point an Airsoft gun at a Police officer either - they will consider it as a real weapon and open fire upon you.
*And of course, the golden rule of Airsoft : CALL YOUR HITS! (if your shot. Go out)

By following these general tips, you should be perfectly fine for the most part in Airsoft.

To Start Out
For those who wish to start Airsofting, here's a quick start up guide that you can base your set up upon.

*A decent full face, non fogging, mask that covers the ears also. (Around $30)
*An AEG rifle (Airsoft Electric Gun) preferably from G&G, Echo 1, or ICS (around $200). Any cheaper - especially from brands like JG or Well (the clone brands) - and the gun's internals will most likely suck and break very quickly. Any more expensive, and it'll be a waste if your just a beginner. Make sure the gun is under 350 FPS, if the factory labels it as up to 380 it should be fine, they usually exaggerate. TEST YOUR GUNS BEFORE BUYING (if possible) otherwise do a lot of online research beforehand.
*A 9.6v battery (don't go for lipo batteries, your gun is most likely not ready for it.)
*Gear-wise, you really only need a mask and gloves. Battle-wear can be a thicker jacket, T-shirt (or long sleeve, but it will get really hot during the game), and jeans. If your really into Airsoft and Mil-sim stuff, go buy a pair of legitimate BDUs (shirt and pants for around $60 total) at
http://www.bdu.com/
The ones they sell at Airsoft stores are fake and rip easily, not to mention they look bad after wearing out in just a few games. Vests look nice also - but they don't do much other than carry extra magazines (getting shot doesn't hurt that much, so a vest isn't really required if you are scared of the pain)
*A large bag of .20 gram BBs from a supplier such as Matrix, AIM, or G&G.

The places you can purchase Airsoft related items are:
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Home (The most expensive Airsoft store that I know, but they also carry the most stuff, but there's a chance of losing your item by a Customs Siezure during the transfer oversea.
http://evike.com/ (famous for it's large stock of items and walk-in store, but pretty expensive)
http://airsoftgi.com/ (cheaper than Evike, and just as good but with less choices)
http://www.airsplat.com/ (one of the cheapest online sites, but with the smallest selection of qualti y gear/guns. There might be an Ad link to Airsplat on the right hand side or bottom of the page. So take a look :)

If you decide to buy from the online stores then leave us a comment and your email (since our "Contact Us" page isn't up yet) and I'll send you an online discount for the store.

Or if you have any questions or want some advice from a partially seasoned Airsoft player then once again, leave a comment!

Have fun and be safe :)

A Page Dedicated to ~XC~

For the REALLY clueless people, XC=cross country xD Anyway, I really wanted to write a bit about the sport, its pros and cons, and how it has changed me. (wow that sounds so...cheesy) Oh well, just check it out! :)

Pros&Cons Of XC:
It may be hard to believe, but YES, running 6+ miles a day really does have some bad effects on your health and body. But it makes you really skinny :D Okay I'm going on a tangent here. BACK TO THE POST.

Pros:
1) Running. (Noo way, Captain Obvious)
Running in itself is good for you for...the most part. It improves you physically and psychologically. Physically-your heart rate increases when you run, which reduces your chances of getting a heart attack and high cholesterol...basically it improves your cardiovascular health. Besides that, it also naturally improves your bone health and it is also proven to slow down the aging process. Psychologically, it improves your mood and relieves stress (as does anything that's related to exercise).

2) Teamwork!
Being on a Cross Country team has taught me tons about teamwork, winning as a team, and losing as a team. Although its an individual sport and it seems a bit self-centered, there are still a lot of teamwork involved. (Your goal is to run your butt off in a 5k race and beat everyone, including your own teammates.) My cross country team is very tightly-knit, everyone is pretty much friends with each other. Because of this, we are extremely supportive of each other; we all cheer each other on and try to push each other to maximize our abilities. When we win a race, we celebrate as a team. When we lose a race, we lose as a team. No one does this: "Dude, I won the race I ran in but you lost yours....so that means Imma winner and you're a loser! :D".
^that's a jerk move anyway, so only a butt would do that xD

Cons:
1) Health risks.
Excessive running every single day has the potential to permanently damage your body. Most of the damage is to your legs, which can be affected by shin splints, tendinitis, stress fractures, ankle problems, knee problems, and the list goes on and on. If you still run while having these conditions, it's possible to make the damage permanent on your legs. Therefore, if you have any problems with your legs, ice is the magical cure you need to get back up and running as soon as possible. Ice everyday for 20 minutes on, 40 minutes off, and repeat three times. This is a quick way to bounce back from a recovery because ice removes the swelling from the area and keeps inflammation down.

Random Quotes:
~Our sport is your sport's punishment~

Let me paint you a scenario: (football)
The team: -screaming and messing around-
The coach: -eye twitch- "EVERYONE CUT IT OUT"
The team: -oblivious- "HEY LOOK, LETS GO BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THAT LITTLE NERD KID"
The coach: -snaps- "OKAY I'VE HAD IT. ALL OF YOU, GO RUN ONE MILE. N.O.W.
The team: "awwww" -sadface-
So while everyone complains about running 1 mile at all, the cross country team is running 6+ miles A DAY. But that's probably because everyone likes running :)

~I don't think, I don't feel, I just run~

Yep, this is the famous quote from Brian the emo kid. He actually chants this when he runs, which makes his emoness basically pour out of him. Anyway, this is probably what's running through everyone's head when they're running their butts off in a 5k race. (Oh, just a random side note, 5k=about 3.1 miles)

Okay I think I'm done ranting about this sport for now :) I hope you enjoyed it and please don't take the football jokes seriously I was just being stereotypical as always hehe.

The Wheel of Time Series

If you have the time and are looking for a great book series to check out - pick up the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan (October 17, 1948 – September 16, 2007) and Brandon Sanderson. It's a captivating 14 book sci-fi/fantasy series (with the last book yet to be released). It will take quite a bit of time to read however since each book averages at around 900 pages. This is my personal favorite book series and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves sci-fi/fantasy and has a bit of free time to read (WoT contains a very very large and extremely detailed universe) If the plot seems a bit overused - this series began in 1990, it was probably one of the first of it's kind (and very original back then). The plot is detailed and very believable - full of moments that make you want to jump up and scream "OWNAGEEEEEE!!" or rip your hair out in frustration. The battle scenes are incredibly well done and very epic - they make the hair stand up on your arms and send adrenaline pumping through your veins. The events and scenes are built up in a crescendo style - starting slow and then building up at an increasing rate until it reaches the top and crashes back down upon the audience like a tsunami of epicness. Definitely a must-read! (btw, there was also a game based upon WOT, made in 1999)

List of books in the series:
0. A New Spring (prequel)
1. The Eye of the World
2. The Great Hunt
3. The Dragon Reborn
4. The Shadow Rising
5. The Fires of Heaven
6. Lord of Chaos
7. A Crown of Swords
8. The Path of Daggers
9. Winter's Heart
10. Crossroads of Twilight
11. Knife of Dreams
12. The Gathering Storm
13. Towers of Midnight

Overview:

At the dawn of time, a deity known as the Creator forged the universe and the Wheel of Time, which, as it turns, spins all lives. The Wheel has seven spokes, each representing an age, and it rotates under the One Power, which flows from the True Source. Essentially composed of male and female halves (saidin and saidar) in opposition and in unison, this power turns the Wheel. Those humans who can use this power are known as channelers; the principal organization of such channelers in the books is called the Aes Sedai or 'Servants of All' in the Old Tongue.
The Creator imprisoned its antithesis, Shai'tan (or Dark One), at the moment of creation, sealing him away from the Wheel. However, in a time called the Age of Legends, an Aes Sedai experiment inadvertently breached the Dark One's prison, allowing his influence into the world. He rallied the powerful, the corrupt and the ambitious to his cause and these servants began an effort to free the Dark One fully from his prison, so he might break the Wheel of Time and end existence. In response to this threat, the Wheel spun out the Dragon, a channeler of immense power, to be a champion for the Light. In the Age of Legends Lews Therin Telamon was named the Dragon, who eventually rose to command the Aes Sedai and their allies in the struggle against the Dark One's forces. After a grueling ten-year war, which began a century after the Dark One's prison was breached, Telamon led his forces to victory in a daring assault on the site of the earthly link to the Dark One's prison, and was able to seal it off. However, at this moment of victory the Dark One tainted saidin, driving male channelers of the One Power insane. The male channelers devastated the world with the One Power, unleashing earthquakes and tidal waves that reshaped the planet, referred to in subsequent ages as "The Breaking of the World." Their leader, Lews Therin, killed his friends, his family, and everyone in any way related to him and finally himself in his insanity thus gaining the epithet Kinslayer. Eventually, the last male Aes Sedai was killed or cut off from the One Power, leaving people scattered from their native lands, civilization all but destroyed, and only women able to wield the One Power safely. The Aes Sedai reconstituted and guided humanity out of this dark time. Mankind now lived under the shadow of a prophecy that the Dark One would break free from his prison and the Dragon would be reborn to face him once more, raining destruction upon the world in the process of saving it from the Dark One.
Over the next three and a half thousand years, the human race returns to a level of technology and culture roughly comparable to that of the 18th century (although without military use of gunpowder and without formalized science, the development of both playing a part in the story), with the difference that women enjoy full equality with men in most societies, and are superior in some. This is put down to the power and influence of the female-only Aes Sedai spilling over into everyday life. Several major wars have ravaged the main continent since the defeat of the Dark One, such as the Trolloc Wars, when the surviving servants of the Dark One tried to destroy civilization once more but were defeated by an alliance of nations led by the Aes Sedai; and the War of the Hundred Years, a devastating civil war that followed the fall of a continent-spanning empire ruled by the High King, Artur Hawkwing. These wars have prevented the human race from regaining the power and high technology of the Age of Legends, and also left humanity divided. Even the prestige of the Aes Sedai has fallen, with their shrinking numbers and the emergence of organizations such as the Children of the Light, a militant order who hold that all who dabble with the One Power are servants of the Shadow. During the last war of note, called the Aiel war and taking place 20 years before the start of the series, the nations of the modern era allied themselves against the nomadic warrior-clans of the Aiel, who crossed into the western kingdoms on a mission of vengeance after suffering a grievous insult at the hands of one of the western Kings. The Aiel have since returned to the Aiel Waste, some say they were defeated and fled, while others say that they got their vengeance and left on their own terms. Despite this confrontation, little is known of these fierce warriors in the kingdoms of the west.
The prequel novel, New Spring, takes place during the Aiel War and chronicles the end of the conflict and the discovery by the Aes Sedai that one of the Prophecies of the Dragon has been fulfilled, that the Dragon has been Reborn. Aes Sedai agents (including a young Moiraine Damodred) are dispatched to try to find the newborn child before servants of the Shadow can do the same.
The series proper commences almost twenty years later in the Two Rivers, a near-forgotten backwater district of the country of Andor. An Aes Sedai, Moiraine, and her Warder Lan, arrive in the village of Emond's Field with news that servants of the Dark One are searching for one particular young man living in the area. Moiraine is unable to determine which of three youths (Rand al'Thor, Mat Cauthon or Perrin Aybara) is the Dragon Reborn, so she takes all three of them out of the Two Rivers, along with their friend Egwene al'Vere. Nynaeve al'Meara, the unusually young village Wisdom (a healer or wise-woman figure), later meets up with them at the town of Baerlon. The men are mystified why Moiraine has allowed Egwene and Nynaeve to travel with them, but it is later revealed that both of them can channel the One Power and learn to be Aes Sedai. A mysterious old gleeman named Thom Merrilin also travels with the group, claiming he wants to travel in safety when leaving the Two Rivers. The first novel depicts their flight from various agents of the Shadow and their attempts to escape to the Aes Sedai city of Tar Valon.
From then on, the story expands and the original characters are frequently split into different groups and pursue different missions or agendas aimed at furthering the cause of the Dragon Reborn (removed due to spoilers), sometimes thousands of miles apart. The original group of characters from the Two Rivers make new allies, gain experience and become figures of some influence and authority. As they struggle to unite the western kingdoms against the Dark One's forces, their task is complicated by rulers of the nations who refuse to give up their authority and by factions such as the Children of the Light, who do not believe in the prophecies, and the Seanchan, the descendants of a long-lost colony of Artur Hawkwing's empire across the western ocean (Hawkwing had once united the mainland continent under his rule, and sent his son across the ocean to unite those lands as well) who have returned, believing it is their destiny to conquer the world. The Aes Sedai also become divided between those who believe the Dragon Reborn should be strictly controlled, and those who believe he must freely lead them into battle as he did in the earlier war. As the story expands, new characters representing different factions are introduced: although this expansion of the narrative allows the sheer scale of the growing struggle to be effectively depicted, it has been criticized for slowing the pace of the novels and sometimes reducing the appearances of the original cast to extended cameos. By the eleventh novel, it has become clear that the Last Battle, caused when the Dark One is able to exert its influence directly on the world once more, is imminent.

How to Download Music for Free (YES ITS LEGAL)

Ever since Limewire got its butt kicked and got shut down, TONS of people have tried to look for other ways to download music without actually paying a dollar per song using Itunes. Below is a free and completely legal way of downloading music. Although it might take a little longer than Limewire, this is a great method of downloading music if you're a stickler for rules and frugal at the same time. :)

1. Find a song on Youtube, and get the link for the video
On Youtube, you can find virtually any song you want, even if it's in a different language! Using this method, you're basically going to be copying the audio of the video (but its legal because you're not violating any copyrights or anything).

2. Go to zamzar.com (ew its a dumb site with advertisements ><)
Personally, I hate going on stupid sites like these (its a file converting site) because they have a crapload of advertisements, but this site gets the job done and is pretty efficient.

3. Go to the tab that lets you convert videos
After you get to the tab, post your link in the first column, choose "mp3" in the second column, and then enter your email in the last column. (The reason they need your email is because they're going to send you the link to your converted video, as far as I know, they don't spam you with advertisements or anything.)

4. Convert the video!
Press convert then wait for the file to get transferred. If you have a lot of songs, its easier to search for the next song you want to convert on Youtube while your first song is converting, and after your first video is finished, press backspace and then repeat step 3.

5. Go to your email
Once you've converted all the songs you want, go to your email and you'll have all the links waiting for you in your inbox. Just open the email, click on the link, then press download. Once the file is finished downloading, the music should automatically transfer to your Itunes. (This will happen if Itunes is set as your default music player, if it isn't then I'm not exactly sure where it will go...xD)

Tada! That's pretty much it for converting your music. I know its really lengthy and annoying, but once you get used to it, the conversions seem to go by much faster. I hope you found this guide useful! :)

Got Free Time This Holiday? Here are some Must-Watch TV Series

If you looking for something to entertain yourself with over the upcoming Holidays/or just on a regular basis, here's a list of my personal favorite TV series. (All of these can be found on the internet, via Google/Anilinkz/Animefreak/Veoh/Youtube/or Megaupload)

Live Action

Chuck

Chuck is an action-comedy-drama television program from the United States created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working in the CIA; the message embeds the only remaining copy of the world's greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain.

THE EVÆŽNT

Near the end of World War II, an aircraft of undetermined origin crashed in the Brooks Range of northern Alaska. It carried passengers who appeared outwardly human, but were eventually determined to be of extra-terrestrial origin. Their DNA is slightly less than one percent different from humans, and they age at a much slower rate. Most of the survivors were captured by the U.S. government and held in a secret facility nearby run by intelligence agencies, since they have refused to disclose much about their origin. The remaining survivors, who only sustained minor injuries, were able to escape the crash scene and currently live among the population.
President Elias Martinez learns of the facility's existence shortly after his inauguration and decides, after meeting the leader of the detainees, to release them and disclose their existence to the world over the objections of the intelligence agencies. His plans are put on hold when an assassination attempt on him is foiled by means beyond human technology. The CIA realizes there are other aliens and secretly plans to find and kill them. Unknown to the agency, the agent chosen to head the effort is himself an alien. The aliens are divided internally on how to respond to this.
Caught in the middle of these events is Sean Walker, whose plans to propose to his girlfriend Leila on a Caribbean cruise are cut short when she mysteriously disappears from the ship. His investigation eventually leads him to uncover the assassination plot.

The Walking Dead

The series follows a small group of survivors traveling across the desolate United States in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse as they search for a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. Led by Rick Grimes, a former sheriff's deputy, the group's increasing desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of insanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors, both from those who are dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace. The zombies may be unoriginal... but this is the first Zombie apocalypse centered TV series - and very well done at that. (Adapted from the comic "The Walking Dead.")

Anime

Code Geass

The series is set after Japan's conquest by the Holy Britannian Empire on August 10, 2010 a.t.b., with their powerful new robot weapons, the Knightmare Frames, stripping Japan and its citizens of all rights and freedoms and renaming the country Area 11. The titular Lelouch vi Britannia is an intellectual Britannian prince who was sent as hostage, along with his sister Nunnally, by his father, Emperor Charles zi Britannia, after his mother was murdered, and has vowed to destroy Britannia. He gains an ability through the mysterious power of the Geass, becoming the leader of the resistance movement to fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister Nunnally can live happily. This is possibly the best anime ever made, definitely a must-watch~

Love Hina

Keitaro Urashima begins the story on a quest, desperate to fulfill a childhood promise he made to a young girl: that they would one day attend Tokyo University together and live happily ever after. Sadly, even if any girl since then would deign to talk to him, he can't remember his dream girl's name or what she looks like, let alone muster grades worthy of Tokyo U. Setting out to find himself, Keitaro aimlessly blunders into becoming manager of his family's hot springs inn, which has been transformed into a girls' dormitory for a number of nearby schools. Over the course of the series, he shares the building, a wide range of preposterous adventures, and a generous helping of innuendo with a memorable handful of young women. Love Hina is truly an amazing show, it's funny, dramatic, and very very addictive - another must-see/even more so than Code Geass (but just barely) :O Don't watch the dubbed version!!

Kuroshitsuji

For those who love very well drawn art - there's Kuroshitsuji (a.k.a. The Black Butler in English) The series follow Sebastian Michaelis, a demonic butler who is bound by a supernatural contract to serve Ciel Phantomhive, the twelve-year-old head of the Phantomhive noble family, and in return Sebastian will obtain Ciel's soul when Ciel has finished all of his tasks - including getting revenge upon the people that murdered his parents. Afterwards, Sebastian is then allowed to kill him and consume his soul. Sebastian is just pure epicness~

Highschool of the Dead

Highschool of the Dead is set in the present day, beginning as the world is struck by a deadly pandemic that turns humans into zombies, euphemistically referred to by the main characters as "them". The story follows Takashi Komuro, a Japanese student at Fujimi High School who survived the initial outbreak along with several of his classmates and the school nurse, and occasionally jumps to the perspective of other characters.
The plot is initially concerned with survival and escape from the titular high school and zombies, but as the series proceeds it introduces the additional threats of societal collapse, in the form of dangerous fellow survivors and the possible decay of the characters' own moral codes.
This is probably also the most perverted anime out there - aside from Hentai of course, but still very entertaining to watch.

Blood +

For those that love vampire related stuff - Under the care of her adoptive family, Saya Otonashi has been living the life of an anemic and amnesiac, but otherwise ordinary schoolgirl. Saya’s happy life is shattered when she is attacked by a chiropteran (vampire like monster lizard thing), learning that she is the only one who can defeat them.

Armed with her katana, Saya embarks on a journey with her family, allies, and her chevalier, Hagi, to rid the world of chiropteran and rediscover her identity. The course of the journey reveals the background history of the chiropterans and Saya's very deep past, which extends into the mid-19th century.
The series is initially set in modern (September 2005) Okinawa City(Koza), on Okinawa Island, near the US Kadena Air Base. In the course of the series, Saya visits locations across the world, fighting enemy chiropteran and searching for her origins.

Death Note

Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook, the "Death Note", dropped on Earth by a death god named Ryuk. Death Note centers around Light's attempt to create and rule a world cleansed of evil using the notebook and the efforts of a detective known as L, and subsequently his successors, Near and Mello, to stop him. The Death Note grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name they know, by writing the name in the notebook while picturing their face.

Eden of the East

On November 22, 2010, ten missiles strike against uninhabited areas of Japan, claiming no victims. This apparent terrorist act is referred to as "Careless Monday" and disregarded by most people. The series begins three months later, with a young Japanese woman named Saki Morimi visiting Washington D.C. as part of her graduation trip. When she gets into trouble, a mysterious Japanese man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, helps her through it. The man appears to have no memory and is completely naked, carrying only a gun and a cell phone charged with ¥8.2 billion in digital money. While they are coming back to Japan, they learn that a new missile has hit their country.
Akira discovers that his phone is part of a game and that he himself is one of the participants. The game consists of twelve individuals, dubbed Seleção (Portuguese: "selection"), who are given ¥10 billion to save Japan. The Seleção are able to use the phone operator, Juiz, to fulfill any kind of order for a price. However if the money is used up completely or for selfish purposes, the individual will be eliminated.

Dexter

Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a forensic bloodstain pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department, who moonlights as a serial killer. Dexter structures his

killing around "The Code of Harry", a body of ethics
and procedures devised by his adoptive father Harry (who was a Miami cop) to make sure Dexter never gets caught and ensure that Dexter kills only other killers. Harry also trained Dexter in how to interact convincingly with other people despite being a psychopath, since the murder of his biological mother, Laura Moser, did in fact turn Dexter into a serial killer. As an adult, Dexter has largely escaped suspicion (with some exceptions) by being genial and generous and maintaining generally superficial relationships. However, his attachment to his sister Deb, his significant other Rita, his stepchildren and (later) his biological son have all complicated his duplicitous lifestyle while making him question his need to kill.

What Goes On In My Head!

I know it's bad to try to push your own morals on someone, but this is something I firmly believe in, and I feel that everyone else should follow it too! Anyway, a few years back I was pondering, "Hmmm...everyone keeps telling me to grow up and be mature and stuff. Am I really that immature?!". It turns out that I was. xD BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT. So while I was being ridiculed by my peers, I came up with a good philosophy to live by:

"You have only about...10-15 years to be immature, and the rest of your freaking life to be mature. Obviously, there's a problem here because everything is horribly unbalanced. So, why not just stretch out the immature period to be a bit longer? That way, you can life without regrets, and have a much less deprived childhood! Win-win situations are the way to go!"

Ever since I came up with that philosophy I've held onto my immaturity! And no, I don't give a mice's butt about what my peers think because half of them know me to be a bipolar emo kid anyway :D Anyway, I encourage you to be yourself - be immature, be weird, be different! Individuality is pretty much the only reason the world isn't a boring place anyway. My friend once made up a quote that goes something like this: "Normal people are weird. Weird people are normal. Whichever it is, be weird. Be normal. Just be yourself." :)

Okay I think I'm finished pushing my morals on you all, I hope you got something out of reading this! Remember, weird people are cool! :D

How to Pull an All-nighter

Lets face it, almost everyone has (or at least tried to) pull an all-nighter at one point in their life. Doing so is pretty tough I'll admit, but with these tips below, managing an all-nighter shouldn't be as hard as it seems!

1. Get some caffeine in your body
A person's tolerance to caffeine depends on how much you drink caffeine, and if your body is naturally tolerant to it. For those that aren't as tolerant, this tip will probably be the key component in pulling an all-nigher. Personally I like either Starbucks or Coke, but there are other ways to get caffeine too, such as tea and various sodas. I suggest having two to three drinks to last you throughout the night; drink one every three to four hours. Doing so will keep the caffeine in your body, and make it easier to stay awake.

2. Make music your best friend
Yes, I admit that when you're writing an essay or doing homework it can be a bit distracting, but in my opinion music helps you more than it hurts you. For one, music is proven to calm your mind, which allows you to work better and concentrate with less effort. Secondly, listening to music at night can help you to stay awake if you're playing it a little louder than usual. So when its around 3 a.m. and you're still trying to cram in that five page essay, music can help you stay awake and help you concentrate and get those creative juices flowing upstairs.

3. Have a brightly lit workspace
When you're working, be sure that you're not working in a dark or dimly lit area. Doing so will make you prone to falling asleep more easily; working in a dark space will only make you want to sleep even more than you already do. Keeping your workspace well-lit will keep you up and also make your mind clearer when you are trying to think of your AP calculus or AP chemistry questions.

4. Keep snacks handy!
Because your body probably isn't used to staying up so late or having no sleep at all, it is going to need extra energy to sustain it. Having sugary snacks work great for keeping you awake, and keeping those midnight munchies at bay. Drinking cold milk or orange juice also works wonders; your body will thank you for the extra sugar. Don't go too crazy with the snacks though, just eat enough to sustain you.

That's pretty much it on my guide for staying up all night, just try not to pull too many all-nighters because they're really bad for you :o Don't forget that the next day, you're probably gonna be looking like a zombie or roadkill. Your body is going to be running off adrenaline for the most part, and when that runs out...you're kinda on your own. Anyway, goodluck and have fun with all those APs!

~Chichi

Extras*

5. Sit in an uncomfortable chair, and be cold.
Sitting in something comfortable will cause you to become sleepy - so will being warm because it simulates being snug in your bed.

Also, tea has actually been proven to be much more effective and contains much more caffeine than coffee - so try that. It's also not bad for your health or teeth like coffee or coke.

Review for Rage HD - Iphone

Alright, our first review!

Topic : RAGE HD (For 4th generation Ipod/Iphones or the Ipad)

So, just a few days ago (Nov 16) id Software released a spin-off of the upcoming "Nuclear Wasteland" themed game "RAGE" by Bethesda Works. Apparently, id Software decided on making this FPS (first person shooter) app as a rail shooter - meaning you have no control over your movement. However, you can still control your aim for about a 180 degree view from left to right. They also dumped the story, which good or bad - means they had more time to spend on making the game visually stunning (especially since the game is a ginormous 580 mb). With the Iphone 4's retina display, the game looks amazing and the maps are very detailed - all running at a "whopping 60 fps"! The entire game revolves around a very ugly TV host who runs the "Mutant Bash" TV series, in which contestants are sent into sprawling mazes filled with creepy mutants and monsters. The levels are organized into "episodes" and the main objective of each is just plain survival. Although the objective may sound a bit dull, the constant action and pop-up freaks will keep your attention away from the boring and on the shooting.

The TV Host

Gameplay : Your average rail shooter controls... with a few more options and more freedom of view. Included among the new options are a "Dodge/Sprint" button (self explanatory), a reload button, a weapon change button, a pause game button, and finally the "fire weapon" button. There are only 3 weapons in the game (which was a bit dissapointing, but makes sense. You wouldn't really have any use for more weapons, except for maybe grenades/rpg). The weapons are a magnum style pistol, an old and rugged looking AK-47, and a semi-automatic shotgun. The AK and Shotgun have limited ammo, but health/ammo/and cash can be picked up a long the way. The pistol gets unlimited ammo (how stereotypical?) However, one thing that really stands out as unique is the reloading - similar to Gears of War. When you reload your weapons, a reload time bar comes up with a certain portion marked as the "sweet spot". If you hit the reload again during the "sweet spot", your damage is doubled for a short amount of time. However, if you miss it, your finger will get hurt in the process of reloading (probably pinched it in between the magazine and the gun) and you will not be able to fire during the few seconds that you shake off the pain in your hands.

The Reload Bar (The yellow area is the "sweet spot")

Conclusion:
All in all, it's a great rail shooter, and has amazing graphics. At only $1.99, it's a steal! So hurry over to the app store and get it today!

How to Piss Off Your Teachers

Everyone has had at least one annoying/frustratingly (bitchy) teacher where you just wanna piss the hell out of them, or just wanted to kill them in general. To those of you that actually want to take it a step further and try to piss them off, here are some tips for you...

1. Make really loud and awkward noises when the teacher isn't looking at you
*scenario* Teacher: -lecturing class- "And now that you know what "x" is, you plug it back into the equation..." -teacher turns around to write stuff on the board-
You: "OHH YESS. OHHH. OOOOOOOHHHH."
Teacher: -turns around and stares the class down- "...WHO WAS THAT?!"
Class: -cricket cricket-
Teacher: -eye twitches-/-rage-

Okay lets face it that actually doesn't happen in real life, but it's always fun to imagine right? :D Anyway, one thing you can actually do is make...sort of subtle noises here and there, just enough so that he/she would notice but not call you out on. Keep in mind that this will only work if you don't have a bunch of dumb nerds that are going to rat you out. (Trust me, they're so annoying you might want to strangle them instead of the teacher -.-)

2. Raise your hand at every single chance possible, but when the teacher calls on you tell him/her you forgot what you were gonna say
The key component to this strategy is to make sure you DO NOT LAUGH. Keep a perfectly straight face while answering the teacher, just so that you don't make it blatantly obvious. If you use this method to piss your teacher off, it's highly likely that he/she will keep you in after class or make you serve lunch detention or something stupid like that, so you might want to only use it once or twice max. Your teacher's look of annoyance will be well worth it anyway >:)

3. Be a smartass :)
This would probably be the reason your teacher hates you in the first place: because you're being annoying with your smart-ass comments or your smart-ass answers or your smart-ass aura. (Or all of the above). No teacher hates anything more than having a smart-ass student back talk them and make them look like a blundering idiot. A few phrases you may find useful:
-"REALLYYY?! How do you know that for sure??" (This is perfect to use when your teacher is in the middle of a lecture and sounding insanely smart when he/she actually isn't. It'll interrupt their train of thought and make them stumble, at least most of the time)
-"Uhh are you sure about that? The textbook said _____" (Use the teacher's main weapon, the textbook, against them. Claim that the book said specific information, and make your teacher flip through it frantically just to prove you're wrong...and then laugh at his or her stupidity for believing you)

4. If he/she has an accent, MOCK IT.
Yes, I know it sounds mean, yes I know it sounds like a douche thing to do, but hey...when you hate a teacher you don't even care anymore. One time I had this really fat Indian biology teacher, and me, being the jerk that I am, mocked her for it ALL THE TIME. (It was only because her accent was so heavy I couldn't even understand half the stuff she was saying in between her rants about meiosis or photosynthesis or the Krebs cycle or whatever). In particular, my friends and I thought the way she said "carbon" was HILARIOUS. It's really hard to describe, but just imagine someone yelling "carbon" (and of course you need to roll the 'r') in the heaviest Indian accent you can think of. In short, it was really funny xD Another thing that was 100x funnier is when one time, my friend was watching Family Guy and she saw someone that looked JUST LIKE my teacher. If you don't believe me...there's are picture comparing the two below heh...

The picture is a kinda hard to see but I'm sure you can still see a resemblance between then two ahaha xD

So if you follow this guide, you should be in tip-top shape for landing yourself in detention, and pissing your teacher off at the same time! It's like killing two birds with one stone...except the for the fact that the bird is your teacher. I hope you enjoyed the guide, writing it was really fun :D Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, once again please don't take any of this to heart, I pretty much did it just for the fun of it, with no harsh intentions or anything :) Thanks!

A Simple Method of Clearing out Weaker Viruses

Ok. Your computer's been infected with a virus. What do you do?
#1. You can search Youtube for a specific guide on the virus you have (usually works pretty well)

#2. My method

1. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from another computer onto a USB/storage device (preferably 500mb or larger)
Download @ : http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?tag=mncol;1
(Linked to Download.com, has been verified to be safe.)

2. Run setup and install Malwarebytes on the storage device/USB. It would be a good idea to activate the program if you can - through a serial key found off Youtube. But it seems as though most of those videos have been removed, but maybe you'll get lucky? (make sure to not use Keygens or any of those videos that require you to download a file to get the serial key. They are usually viruses) If you can't find any, it'll still work fine.

3. Update the Malwarebytes program

4. Start up the infected computer in Safe Mode.

5. Connect the USB/Storage Device containing Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on it.

6. Run a full scan with the device. And delete the viruses after it's done.

If you have any questions or comments... don't hestitate to use the comment feature? It's what it's there for... haha

A Comprehensive Guide to Cleaning Your PC

Before I start, I know there are billions of websites explaining how to clean your computer on the internet - however they usually only teach you one method, or try to get you to buy some "repair" program and can often turn out to be a scam. Also, this guide will be the compilation of the best methods I have discovered for cleaning a computer, but I don't guarantee it IS the best. If there is anything you would like to add on, feel free to do so in the comments. And this guide is written specifically for cleaning the PC (and not for a completely virus infected computer. That's a different topic altogether.)

Alright, let's get started.
1. You will want to delete all your extra and unnecessary programs, files, etc. (Should be very self explanatory.)
2. Download both CCleaner and Advanced SystemCare Pro

The links are from Download.com and I have verified that they are safe to use.

3. Activate Advanced SystemCare Pro by going on Youtube and searching for "Advanced SystemCare Pro Serial key" or the similar until you find a video that shows you how. Make sure you don't use one of the keys that require you to download a "keygen" or any file off the internet (those are most likely viruses)
Or you can use these keys - But I haven't verified if they are still functionable.

serials for advanced system care pro
name: DiG
Key: 1534-1534-1534-1534
Name: commentsthetruth
7485-7485-ZREX-UU0E
Name: commentsthetruth
7485-7485-ZQTV-5WPR
disconnect from internet before you enter the key and activate your program.
4. Once you have activated the program and finished the setup, run CCleaner's fullscan and go into the ASCpro's tools area and run "disk cleanup" and "smart defrag". One of the tools requires an alternate download but it's safe. Then go back to ASCpro and hit the big button in the middle labeled "Care!" and click "ok" or "continue" (I forgot what the exact prompt was).

5. Make sure that you delete and clean up all the broken registries, etc. found in CCleaner (creating a backup restore point would be a good idea - it'll prompt you to do so). In Advanced System Care pro, make sure to hit the "Fix Problems" after the scan is done. The Smart Defrag should be self-explanatory, you just let it run, and Disk Cleanup should be also, you basically just hit "next", let it scan, and then hit "next", and hit "Back up and Delete". Or "delete permanently " if you're feeling brave.

That should be the end of it. Note* I would highly suggest changing the setting in Advanced System Care Pro so that it does not turn on at start up.

If you have any questions or things to add in - please don't hestitate to comment. I also don't mind constructive criticism, but please, no flaming.

Ever eat an unripe Pineapple and instantly become afflicted with diarrhea? Or an unripe Tomato and recieve some gut-wrenching cramps?
Well... Apparently, many unripe fruits such as Pineapples, Tomatoes, and Avocados should not be eaten because toxins are generated in their skins... or something similar. Bottom line is... becareful with eating unripe fruit.

Our Blog is Still Under Construction!

<Currently Under Construction>

Ok. I admit it. Our blog is pretty lacking right now - in terms of aesthetics. BUT, we're working on it... and by that I mean - I'm working on it.  Chichi can't design for his life, no offense Chichi! Hehehe... except for maybe the fish feeding thing on the left side of the page, that was his idea. Anyway.... please bear with us while we go through the pains and annoyances of constructing a brand new blog. And ignore the constant background/theme switches if that happens (We'll be testing different themes and backgrounds until we get one that fits)

Requesting Specific Guides

For all the people who want to request for a specific guide to be written, write a comment for this post on the topic you want.  Chichi and I will try our best to research, and write out a fully explained guide on whatever you requested - as long as it isn't adult oriented (remember, there are/or will be kids here) or racist, or any other rude/socially taboo classified topic.

For Ex.
"Hi, my name is ______ and I would like to request a guide written on ________ . "

You can just copy and paste the example (with the blanks filled in) if your feeling lazy. Aren't we nice?
(The name [username/real name/etc.] is required so we know who [or what, if you're feeling silly :P] to "dedicate" the guide to.)

Aung San Suu Kyi is Released From Prison

Ok! Our very first opinionated (is that even a word?) news topic! Just a few days ago (November 13th) in Burma, a prisoner of conscience Aung San Suu Kyi was finally released from house arrest after remaining there for almost 15 years. So...what's so special about her? She was the leader of the Burmese Democracy movement in the 1990's. Her party actually won the vote for Democracy - which would be a first for Burma... but she was already under house arrest during that time. Just imagine... being "jailed" for doing the right thing, and then winning the argument (used metaphorically) that got you in trouble in the first place, but still having to serve your term in house arrest. Ouch! (and that's quite a large understatement) Anyway, here's some background information on the topic. Back in 1962, the democratic rule of Burma was overthrown by a military coup. But in 1990, elections were held for the first time in almost thirty years. As a result of the elections, the military leader of Burma refused to step down and recognize the election results, and he put all the pro-democracy leaders under arrest, including Aung San Suu Kyi. Throughout the years, she has been receiving support from organizations from all over the world; because she had finally been released after 15 years of fighting, many human rights groups have been seeing this as a huge victory in their battle against oppression. For more info, visit http://www.amnestyusa.org/. If at all possible, please donate to Amnesty International, they're a great non-profit human rights organization, and they've been fighting against oppression all over the world. Thanks!
