Hey everyone, ever downloaded a bunch of movies or videos and realized they were all in MKV format? Then found out there are NO free video convertors that work well or fully convert your files without sticking in a stupid "Converted with ****" somewhere in the video (or so you think)? Well fear not! The kind folks at Handbrake have developed an Opensource video convertor for Windows, Mac, Ubuntu, Fedora, and even command line! It's simple, easy to use, and chock full of helpful features! Best of all it's a FREE VIDEO CONVERTOR!!! No need to pay or subscribe for the software because it's open source :)

(Hit the Skip Add button at the top right hand corner to get to the download)
Feel free to do some extra research upon Handbrake if you're feeling suspicious or paranoid :P I guarantee, it's a completely free video convertor :)
Just download and install.
How to Use:
First, click "Source" and select the files (or folder) that you wish to convert. The "source" is where Handbrake will look for the video file to convert.
Next, open the "title" drop down box to select the specific video you wish to convert (assuming you selected a folder as the source). If the source is a single file, skip this step.
Then check the Audio tab and choose "add all tracks" to get all the audio options on the file. You can also customize the audio files on the video in that tab as well.
Afterwards, check the subtitles tab if you want to add subtitles, (the file may or may not have subtitles to add). This step is optional.
Lastly, hit "Start" to start the conversion :)
(You can queue up multiple videos to be converted by "add to queue")
